Therapist – LMHC-QS, MA

Licensed Mental Health Counselor & Qualified Supervisor

Many people come to therapy feeling like they should already have it all figured out. They may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about where to begin, wondering if therapy can truly help.

I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and collaborative space where clients can show up exactly as they are. My approach is individualized, practical, and grounded in genuine connection, helping each person work toward meaningful and lasting change at their own pace.

My hope is that clients leave therapy feeling more understood, more confident, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges. Therapy isn’t about becoming someone different. It’s about rediscovering your strengths and building the life and relationships you want.

Experience

Raquel “Rocky” McCranie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Florida Qualified Supervisor who enjoys working with individuals and couples, helping adults, teens, veterans, and partners navigate anxiety, attachment wounds, depression, trauma, grief, substance misuse/addiction/recovery, relationship challenges, life transitions, and low self-esteem.

Her background includes residential mental health and substance use treatment, outpatient services, equine facilitated services, juvenile facilities, and private practice. Rocky believes therapy should feel like a genuine conversation rather than a clinical checklist, creating a space where clients feel heard, supported, and challenged to grow.

More Than Just My Work

“Hakuna Matata.” Not because life is free of worries, but because we don’t have to carry them alone.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my family, caring for my rare plants, reading, and being around horses. Growth, whether in people or plants, takes patience, consistency, and a little blind faith in the process.
