From reframing thoughts and setting goals to establishing boundaries and learning new coping skills, I strive to provide personalized strategies that empower growth and resilience. Through cultivating a safe, supportive, and collaborative space that honors each client’s unique experiences, needs, and goals, individuals are empowered to flourish, paving the way for meaningful growth and a more balanced, healthier life.

Darkemia has over eight years of dedicated experience.  She has provided therapeutic services across a variety of settings, including in-home care, community environments, residential treatment programs, day programs, outpatient clinics, and schools. Her extensive work has allowed her to support individuals facing a multitude of challenges, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and more.

Darkemia specializes in working with children (ages 4+), teens, adults, individuals, & families who might be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, parenting, family conflict, life transitions, self-esteem, or other areas of concern.  Darkemia utilizes many approaches in her therapeutic work, including person-centered therapy, strength-based therapy, reality therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), play therapy, art therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
