Therapist – LCSW

Clients often feel overwhelmed by some of the changes needed to experience desired outcomes in their lives. They are not sure if it’s going to help or know how to implement this change, and can find it difficult to see the way forward.

I utilize a holistic, whole-person, and solution-focused approach throughout the therapeutic process, focusing on each client’s life experiences and needs as motivation for change to achieve their desired outcome. I aim to provide a warm, comfortable, and empathic safe space while offering evidence-based treatment and guidance to help clients achieve their desired goals.

Patricia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a University of Nevada Las Vegas graduate with a Master’s degree in Social Work. Over the past nine years, she has worked assessing clients with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and other trauma-related disorders.

She specializes in treating a variety of populations, including couples, families, individuals, and adolescents (starting at age 12). Her therapeutic approach is informed by evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She also draws on her Gottman Method training when working with couples.

Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” -Viktor Frankl
